Tribute of Swimmers of African Decent

Artist, George Gadson, Bruce Wigo, President of the International Swimming Hall of Fame, and Eddie Kirk, former member of the DuSable High School Swim Team. The sculpture depicts the history of swimmers of African decent, beginning with the story of African babies learing to swim and growing up to become divers for pearls, to the first person of African decent, Anthony Neste from Suriname who was a gold medalist in the 1988 Olympics.
